You only need to mail us the copies of the passport and Chinese Visa about 20 days before your scheduled departure day to Tibet. It will need 8 to 9 days (longer when peak season) to get the permit issued. Once it is issued, we will delivery the permit to you in your address in mainland China, which will take several days. With the permit, you can board the train or flight to Tibet then.
