Can I travel to Tibet with my Chinese Visa only since I already have a Chinese Visa?

How to get to Tibet from the mainland of China?

The most convenient way to get to Tibet from mainland China is by flight. Major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou offer direct flights to Lhasa, the provincial capital of Tibet. Among them, the Chengdu to Lhasa flight is particularly popular due to its frequency and relatively short duration.

Alternatively, if you have ample time and wish to experience the breathtaking scenery, you can take the Tibet train via the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The train journey lasts from 21 to 53 hours, depending on your departure city.
